Discover the magical art of water marbling in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. In this introductory class, you’ll learn the basics of traditional Ebru — an ancient paper marbling technique where color is floated on water and transferred onto paper or tea bag paper to create stunning, organic designs. This calming, meditative process is accessible to all skill levels and encourages creativity, curiosity, and play. You’ll explore color, pattern, and movement while learning simple techniques to create your own one-of-a-kind marbled papers and finished pieces. All materials are provided, and no prior art experience is necessary. This workshop is open to participants ages 18+. Finished projects will be ready 48 hours later for pickup or can be shipped to you.
